Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany

A perfectly imperfect vintage charm

A manor to party in
» More about Vogelsang Manor

In Vogelsang Manor, which was built in a neo-Gothic style during the Romantic period, the era is the programme. The estate in Mecklenburg Switzerland exudes the charm of a ruin that has been given a new creative lease of life. The battlements and towers are sometimes reminiscent of a haunted castle from old films and there are stylish details everywhere: brocade cushions lie on an old chaise longue in front of the fireplace, a billiard table stands on old creaking floorboards and feathers, flowers and candles are lavishly strewn everywhere. The building’s Bel Etage is where festive menus are served, wedding ceremonies are performed and where creative photo shoots are staged. The park is large enough to drive through in a carriage and under the tall trees, which are decorated with tasteful lanterns for such occasions, parties are held until late into the night. Your imagination knows no bounds here.
